Swizz Beatz talks executive producing DMX’s next album and his son kissing Blue Ivy with MTV’s “RapFix Live” [VIDEO]

Swizz Beatz RapFix LiveIt was the hardcore lyrics that made DMX the star he was in the late 1990s and the early 2000s. However, those hardcore lyrics may not have meant as much if it was not for the hardcore instrumentals provided by Swizz Beatz. Their run started in 1998 on Jay-Z’s single, “Money, Cash, Hoes,” off the Hard Knock Life album.

Soon, DMX and Swizz Beatz’ sound morphed into one of its own and the result was nothing but strong hits. As DMX branched out of the trio with Jay-Z and Ja Rule, he began to come into his own. But, all good things come to an end and this ended up being the case with DMX and Swizz Beatz.

This past week, Swizz Beatz talked to MTV’s “RapFix Live” about his upcoming work, which includes work with DMX. Last year, DMX released a new album, Undisputed, but Swizz Beatz told Sway they have work coming. Swizz Beatz also talked about a time when his son, Egypt, kissed Jay-Z and Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy.
