Swizz Beatz Reveals That Lil Baby and Lil Durk Pushed Back The Release of Their “Voice of The Heroes” Collab Album Out of Respect For DMX’s Posthumous “Exodus 1:7” Album, Which Releases on Same Day

DMX’s posthumous “Exodus 1:7” album is set to be released on May 28 and, another huge project was supposed to listed for that day as well. That is Lil Baby and Lil Durk’s “Voice of The Heroes” album. Now, in a listening event for DMX’s project, Swizz Beatz revealed that Baby and Durk delayed this release out of respect for X.

Earlier this week, Baby also took to Instagram to ask fans how they would feel about that May 28 release date. That post was quickly deleted and it could’ve been after thinking about DMX. Baby and Durk have had a lot of great chemistry lately such as on Durk’s “3 Headed Goat” single, which also included Polo G along with “Every Chance I Get,” which appeared on DJ Khaled’s new “Khaled Khaled” album.

The tracklist for DMX’s “Exodus 1:17” album was also released on Friday and it looks like it will be something special. 12 songs are available in total with appearances from Nas, Jay Z, Moneybagg Yo, Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, and more. As skit is included as well with “Exodus Skit.”

DMX is expected to have the number one album in the country when Exodus 1:7 is out on May 28. Whenever Durk and Baby put out their Voice Of The Heroies, they have a very good chance of doing so as well.
