From one journalist to another, much respect goes out to Sway for all that he has done to break down barriers. Hip hop media is held to a higher regard due to the efforts he has brought to radio, online, and television over the years. It was only right things came full circle with Sway returning to morning radio on Shade 45.
In addition to taking an executive role with MTV and hosting both their news edition and “RapFix Live,” Sway is big over at Shade 45. Sway hosts “Sway In The Morning” and he and King Tech also do “The Wake Up Show” like they did in Oakland. By most accounts, Sway is the king of hip hop media.
Skyy Hook is one of the newest members of AllHipHop.com and her new edition is called “The Hook.” Her first guest is Sway Calloway, her mentor, and he had the answers this time. Sway talked about being from Oakland, King Tech, and what he sees for the future.
