According to posts from friends, on her personal Facebook page, Suzzanne Douglas has died. Douglas is a well-known actress, having played in many classics. She is likely best-known for playing the mom on “The Parent ‘Hood,” on The WB, where she played opposite of Robert Townsend.
Suzzanne Douglas, aside from “The Parent ‘Hood,” played in other shows, and movies. Starting with an appearance, on “The Cosby Show,” Douglas had a strong run, in the 1990s. The films she played in include How Stella Got Her Groove Back and The Inkwell.
In the late 1990s, Suzzanne Douglas had a minor role, on “The Parkers.” Tonight, on July 6, 2021, there are reports of her death. On Douglas’ personal Facebook page, many of her personal friends are posting on her wall their condolences to her.
