Pop Smoke’s killers were finally arrested last week four months after the home invasion robbery occurred. LAPD took them into custody after warrants were handed down. They are two men and two teenagers. The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office have now officially announced murder charges against 19-year-old Corey Walker and 18-year-old Keandre Rodgers, according to TMZ. Each are being hit with murder with special circumstance allegations that the killing went down during the commission of a robbery and burglary.

The other two suspects are 15 and 17 and have been charged with one count of murder and robbery in juvenile court. The death penalty is a possible scenario for Walker and Rodgers. Even if this doesn’t happen, they can very well do life in prison.

These suspects also admitted that they didn’t know Smoke personally and were able to find the Hollywood Hills mansion he was staying in after the address was shown on a bag that he had on Instagram. The shooting occurred around 4:30am. LAPD originally had difficulty finding the suspects due to potential witnesses refusing to speak while others provided inaccurate information.

Smoke’s posthumous debut studio album was released on July 3 and this weekend, it officially debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 248,000 units. It was the biggest posthumous debut since Michael Jackson’s passing in 2009. This project was led by the single “Make It Rain” feat. Rowdy Rebel. Some other rising hits are “For The Night” feat. Lil Baby and DaBaby, “Something Special” and “West Coast S*it” feat. Tyga and Quavo.
