While the year of 2016 looks like Gucci Mane’s comeback year, the year of 2015 belonged to Eazy-E. Even though he died in 1995, Eazy-E has made his comeback via biopics. First, Straight Outta Compton put him back on the map, portraying his rise to the top of the music world.
Michel’le was not included in Straight Outta Compton, so she teamed up with Lifetime for Surviving Compton. Here, Michel’le (Rhyon Nicole Brown) deals with the abuse of Dr. Dre (Curtis Hamilton). While she was getting abused, not everyone was with it.
Eazy-E (Omari Wallace) has spent the bulk of the movie standing up for Michel’le. Throughout history, Eazy-E has often been portrayed as the “bad guy” in the whole Dr. Dre rise story. But, the fans on Twitter were going in on Dr. Dre, but Eazy-E has received tons of props, with some even asking to swap Dre for Eazy.
