Summer Walker continues to be one of the most popular R&B stars in the industry. She originally stormed onto the scene in late 2018 with her breakout hit single, “Girls Need Love.” That recorded ended up receiving a remix with Drake in January 2019. That fall, her debut studio album, “Over It,” was released. That project saw massive success as it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Over It has since gone platinum and so have four other singles from the album. Now, the Atlanta native has another plaque coming. She took to her Instagram feed on Tuesday to reveal that “Body” is now platinum. This is after selling 1 million units.

Last month, Walker also finally put out the music video. These visuals featured black and white scenes as she also showed off her baby bump. She initially announced her pregnancy back in late November. The father of the child is multi-platinum producer, London On Da Track. The two have had a rocky relationship since they started dating in 2019 but they appear to still be together now at this point in the pregnancy.

Fans also look forward to Walker’s sophomore album now. In December, she revealed that she is currently working on that. Her last project was her “Life On Earth” EP which featured the hit single, “White Tee,” featuring her newly signed Ghetto Earth Records artist, NO1-Noah.
