Summer Walker has been working on her sophomore album lately, which has yet to publicly receive an official release date. Her debut album, “Over It,” was released in October 2019, and became the number two album in the US. It ended up going 2x platinum, and was led by hits such as “Girls Need Love” remix feat. Drake, “Body,” and “Come Thru” feat. Usher.
Fans have started to become impatient about the release for this forthcoming project, as they continue to ask about it in Walker’s Instagram comments. Now, the R&B star is responding, by doing a little bit of trolling, in her IG stories.
There, Walker put herself in a video meme, where she is getting her makeup done in her car, while a woman is banging on the window, with her hand. The caption read “Samurais: Summer, where’s the album?” Then, Walker’s reaction was her ignoring the noise, and continuing on with her makeup.
Hopefully, Walker does end up revealing the release date for this project soon. Many regarded her debut album as a classic, with this one possibly having the same potential. Her last project released was her “Life On Earth” EP, last summer.
