Summer Walker is still regarded as one of the best R&B artists currently out. In 2019, her debut studio album, “Over It,” was released, as it was led by the breakout hit single, “Girls Need Love” remix, ft. Drake, and other hits such as “Come Thru” ft. Usher, “Playing Games” ft. Bryson Tiller and “Body.” The album went on to debut at number two, on the Billboard 200.
Over It has since been regarded as a classic R&B album, and fans still have high praise for Walker as an artist. One fan, @JayMehTV, had some for sure, in an Instagram story where he said “Idc what y’all say @summerwalker is the QUEEN OF R&B of this generation. Don’t @ me argue with yo mama.”
Walker co-signed this, by reposting this, to her own Instagram stories. On Twitter, fans debated this topic, while throwing other names out there, such as Kehlani, SZA, H.E.R., and Jhené Aiko.
Walker is currently working on her sophomore album, but no official release date or title has been made publicly official. Several features have been confirmed though, such as SZA, Ari Lennox, and Lil Durk.
