Summer Walker has cancelled the majority of her ‘First and Last Tour’ due to her social anxiety but some dates still remain. One of them was in Toronto at Rebel last night. That turned out to be a disaster as Walker took the stage close to midnight. Fans were waiting hours outside in the cold for her as well. Prior to performing, she was seen in her Instagram Stories walking around Toronto. She also took photos with Drake and producer/boyfriend, London on Da Track.
Walker now has an excuse for the madness that went down in the Six. According to The Shade Room, Walker says that the equipment for the concert was still at the U.S-Canadian border. She added that her team didn’t make her aware of the situation and just went on stage when she was called on.
In addition to fans at Rebel waiting outside in the cold for hours while waiting on Walker, they supposedly booed opening acts when it was time to go inside the venue. Toronto natives also said on Twitter that they yanked a curtain down that was covering the stage that was doing a sound check when they finally got in. There shouldn’t be anymore excuses. Walker doesn’t come through with decent performances for fans, doesn’t have energy for meet and greets with the fans who have supported her heavily, and now this latest incident in Toronto.
Check out the photos of Walker with London and Drake and video of fans waiting outside by Rebel in the cold.
