One major reason New York is winning is because of the fusion of the old and the new both dominating the game. At the center of this revamped hip hop scene is Styles P, who released his Float album with Scram Jones last week. Styles P has already been on a roll, doing tracks with Uncle Murda, Torch, A-Mafia, and many others.
With his album fresh out, Styles P is New York’s most-talked about artist. Float has garnered positive reviews, as it brings back the essence of old school hip hop. The usual suspects also showed up and out on Styles P’s new album. All of this helped make Float one of the best albums of this young year.
Since releasing his new album, Styles P has been making his rounds with the media and doing several interviews. In his latest interview, Styles P sat down with Vlad TV and he explained how Float came together. Styles P talked about his work with Scram Jones and he also spoke on how he dealt with High Times for this album.
