A few year ago, Fat Joe went on “The Breakfast Club,” and he told the story of the artists he’s helped and discovered. After he rattled off so many names, Charlamagne told him he should have been a label executive. They all lamented how big the Terror Squad name would be.
Fat Joe, ultimately, told them the exec life wasn’t for him. Then, he went onto tell the story of how Eminem sent him his demo and he rejected. In a later interview, with VladTV, Fat Joe went more in-depth. He said, there, he rejected Eminem’s demo six times.
Recently, Fat Joe did an interview with 99 Jamz, in Miami, where he spoke with Supa Cindy and DJ Entice. The conversation, briefly, went back to Eminem, where Fat Joe retold the story. When Uproxx shared the story, on Twitter, Fat Joe replied to them, calling it the “biggest regret of my life.”
