Steve Stoute hints at New York Knicks firing Mike Miller, on “First Take,” and Knicks release official statement saying Stoute makes no official decisions about the team, management does [VIDEO/PHOTO]

This morning, Steve Stoute joined ESPN’s “First Take,” where he discussed his new role with the New York Knicks. Joining the marketing/branding department, Stoute said he is doing what Drake did for the Raptors. Then, he spoke a little boastfully.

Steve Stoute got his start, in the music industry, where he worked with the likes of Jay-Z, Nas, and 50 Cent. But, with his interests moving outside of music, Steve Stoute began making other moves. Among them is with the Knicks.

However, Steve Stoute made it seem as though the Knicks would be removing people, such as Mike Miller, from the organization. The fans were reacting to these comments, sparking conversation. Doing damage control, the Knicks and Stoute released statements, saying no one is being fired, and management ONLY makes those kinds of decisions.
