Steve Kerr confirms he will coach Game 2 of the 2017 #NBAFinals | Warriors vs. Cavaliers | June 4, 2017 [VIDEO]

Stats-wise, Steve Kerr is on his way to becoming the NBA’s greatest all-time coach. But, it’s fitting, seeing how Steve Kerr spent most of his career coached by Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich. In fact, Steve Kerr had the longest NBA Finals run until LeBron James.

Steve Kerr played in the 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999 NBA Finals, winning them all. He was also the first player since the Boston Celtics, in the old days, to do that. Kerr played for the Chicago Bulls and would later join the San Antonio Spurs, winning in 1999 and 2003.

Since 2014, Steve Kerr has coached the Golden State Warriors, with 67-15, being his worst regular season, doing that twice. His first season saw the Warriors win the championship, and the second saw Golden State go 73-9 and lose in Game 7 of the Finals. In his interview with David Aldridge, Steve Kerr revealed he was coaching tonight’s game vs. Cleveland.
