Steve Harvey hoped his celebrity status would help sway the presidential election to Hillary Clinton. Ultimately, Donald Trump’s celebrity status was too much for others to overcome. Now, at the behest of President Obama, Steve Harvey met with Donald Trump.
After the meeting, Steve Harvey and, briefly, Donald Trump, spoke with CNN about their meeting. Harvey would tell the media that they discussed fixing the issues of the inner cities, mainly Chicago and Detroit, Ben Carson’s native home. Coming out of the interview, Steve Harvey said Donald Trump seems serious about this and he is a “good guy.”
