During the Gilbert Arenas episode, of “All The Smoke,” Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson cracked a joke about Kwame Brown. This has led to one of the most-entertaining weeks of NBA drama. Since then, Kwame Brown has gone on several tirades.
Kwame Brown was 2001’s number one draft pick and the first player drafted by Michael Jordan. Talented, Brown ended up playing alongside Jordan. In the interview, Gilbert Arenas said this added pressure to Kwame Brown and messed with his confidence.
Because of Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s jokes, Kwame Brown went off on everyone. After Charlamagne Tha God roasted him, Kwame Brown called him a rapist. In the case of Stephen Jackson, he offered two public apologies, giving one in his interview with Marc Lamont Hill, meanwhile Kwame Brown shared DMs, where Jack told him “catch u in traffic.”
