Steph Curry is unlikely to play in game 3 vs. Portland, but could return for game 4 #Warriors #NBAPlayoffs

Last season, there were rumblings of the Golden State Warriors possibly winning 70 games. They came very close, finishing 67-15 and they cruised to their first NBA championship in forty years. This win cemented Steph Curry as the NBA’s best player.

Steph Curry came into the 2015-2016 season determined to officially leave his name in the history books. After a 24-0 start, Curry’s Warriors finished the season 73-9. This gave them one more win than the legendary 1995-1996 Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls, 72-10.

However, since the playoffs began, Steph Curry has been bitten, hard, by the injury bug. In the opening game of the playoffs, Curry tweaked his ankle and missed most of the series. During his brief return, he injured his knee and this is why Steve Kerr has said Curry is doubtful to return in game three against the Trail Blazers, a series Golden State leads 2-0.
