Rick Ross’ focus has been taking over the rap game ever since he first picked up the microphone, well over a decade ago. Throughout his career, Rick Ross has proven he knows how to make hits and he has gained favor with many powerful figures in the game. The domination of the rap game was paired with Rick Ross’ relationships with Jay-Z, Diddy, and Birdman.

Working with three of the biggest moguls in hip hop has led to Rick Ross thinking of himself more as a mogul. Last January, Rick Ross transformed himself into a mogul, filling the roster of his Maybach Music label with stars. One month later, Rick Ross established a distribution deal with Warner Bros. Records and his roster began releasing hits.

During the fall of 2011, Rick Ross ventured into Ohio, signing Stalley to Maybach Music. Stalley immediately made an impact, releasing several new songs. Soon, Stalley revealed he was working on a new mixtape, Savage Journey to the American Dream. In March, Stalley finally released this mixtape and was met with much acclaim. After the release of the mixtape, his focus shifted to his debut album.

AllHipHop.com caught up with Stalley on the first stop of his Savage Journey tour at Club Eve in Miami, last week. At the stop, Stalley was questioned about his debut album, saying it may come in a few months, or it might come in a year. Stalley said the album will reflect what is going on in his life, as he raps from emotion. Even though he has met many of the goals in his life, Stalley said he still wants to accomplish so much more.

Stalley also discussed his mixtape, Savage Journey to the American Dream and the impact the project had on his career.
