In 2012, Stacey Dash came forward with some news that people really didn’t care about. Like most people, Dash supported Barack Obama for president, in 2008. Not too different from a lot of people, Dash shifted support to his opponent in 2012.
Stacey Dash would reveal that, as she paid more attention to politics, she was more of a conservative. That meant Obama’s views didn’t align with hers, which is fine. However, she became very vocal, and something of a right-wing extremest.
Not only did Stacey Dash become more conservative, in general, she took a near-racist approach against her own race. She called out BET over the #OscarsSoWhite saga, and 100% sided with Donald Trump. So, today, as Stacey Dash was shown to get arrested for domestic violence, Black Twitter is coming for her in a big way, having nothing but jokes for her, which is rather unfortunate.
