Earlier this year, Drake and Nas did a concert in New York City. The concert was sponsored by Sprite and it launched their latest “Obey Your Thirst” campaign. This campaign has rap lyrics on the new cans of Sprite, along with video profiles of rappers in mini-documentaries.
Posthumously, The Notorious B.I.G. is also included in this campaign. It is only right for Biggie to be a part of the campaign, as he has countless quotables in less than a five year span. When Sprite landed the opportunity to land him for their campaign, they used it.
However, there was someone who decided to do something to it. As everyone knows, The Notorious B.I.G. died eighteen years ago. Someone decided to mark out the “Obey Your Thirst” caption and write “DEAD PPL DONT SELL SODA.”
