Getting started by producing hits for Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame, Southside has emerged as one of the biggest new producers in the South. Over the past year, Southside has enjoyed watching his stock rise, as many people outside of Brick Squad are requesting his services. It has been a relative short period of time, but the hard work has paid off for Southside.
During Frenchie’s interview with Hip Hop Vibe, he announced he was working with Southside on his upcoming mixtape, Concrete Jungle 2. In addition to his work with Frenchie, Southside announced his work with many others. Southside would conduct his own interview with Hood Affairs TV, alongside 808 Mafia, discussing his work on several new projects.
Southside revealed he has projects in the works with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Feeling free to speak on whoever, Southside revealed his upcoming production work. Salute Me or Shoot Me 4 is among the projects Southside is working on. Other artists include B.o.B. and Lloyd, along with many other projects and Southside discussed the success of Waka Flocka Flame’s “Lurkin.” Jose Guapo has also turned to Southside, along with Meek Mill and 2 Chainz.
