Six years ago, Soulja Boy burst onto the scene and he redefined the game with his moves. With hip hop transitioning towards the internet, Soulja Boy led this movement and made it happen much faster than expected. Soulja Boy had a major impact on the game and lasted longer than most expected.
When Soulja Boy came into the game, Atlanta already was on top of the game, but he led a new wave. Soulja Boy was followed by Rocko and Shawty Lo as other Atlanta rappers who emerged and were successful. Since his initial run, Soulja Boy has begun releasing many mixtapes over the internet.
Recently, Soulja Boy released his Foreign 2 mixtape, which is another holdover until he releases U$A Dre. Now, Soulja Boy has plans of returning with another new mixtape, which is titled King Soulja. This new mixtape is planned to be released on May 5 and the cover dropped ahead of time.
