When it comes to business, Soulja Boy was very smart in how he moved, starting with utilizing the internet. Had it not been for Soulja Boy’s success, many independent artists would not know how to market music online. Ten years later, Soulja Boy is still winning.
Soulja Boy was cast by VH1 for “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” in 2014, as a part of the original cast. This season, Soulja Boy hasn’t had much of a role, following his explosive debut. But, Soulja Boy revealed he was still getting $50,000 an episode, before announcing his departure.
Later, Mona Scott-Young subliminally hinted at firing Soulja Boy. This is just pure speculation, but if Soulja was indeed fired, was it due to him sharing his paystub on social media. Also, he would later tweet “guess she mad, because I finessed her out that bag,” as he made his Instagram private.
