Early in his career, Snoop Dogg was viewed as a part of “the problem.” Representing the violent youth, at one point, Snoop Dogg is now an older head. Since his debut, over twenty years ago, Snoop Dogg has continuously lightened his image. Snoop Dogg now views things from a different mindstate.
Given his position in the game, Snoop Dogg commands a lot of respect from the rap game. Most newcomers always come into the game and pay homage to Snoop Dogg, such as Mississippi standout, Big K.R.I.T. Earlier this week, both emcees sat down on the couch with Sway Calloway at MTV’s “RapFix Live.”
An overall strong hip hop discussion every week, Sway Calloway got Snoop Dogg’s take on Rick Ross. Via social media and other outlets, hip hop already has opinions from Rocko, Meek Mill, Eve, Slim Thug, and Ace Hood. Snoop Dogg came to the defense of Rick Ross during the interview.
