In terms of actual popularity and reach, culturally, Snoop Dogg is easily the biggest rapper in the game. Not overhyping, but he is probably the biggest rapper of all-time. No one is as prominent as he is on social media.
Regardless of how old he gets, all the new rappers want to get a collaboration with him. A decade after he last got radio play, Snoop Dogg carried Lil Duval to the top of the charts, with “Smile B*tch.” That record has continued to grow, and is definitely a Snoop record.
Overdue, Snoop Dogg is getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The star comes as Snoop Dogg is riding another high point in his career. This moment, alone, is a high point, as people have flooded the streets, anticipating him receiving his star, for which he danced upon arriving to.
