This week, Aretha Franklin died, and the celebrities are still pouring in, with their tributes. Many of the biggest names in music have been honoring her. Few people were as close to Aretha as Smokey Robinson and he was popular during her later run.
Smokey Robinson has become a music icon in his own right. The world equally loves Smokey Robinson and he took social media over. Fans were very excited to hear the words he had to say about the loss of his close friend.
This morning, Smokey Robinson talked to “Good Morning America.” It was all about Aretha. His heart-warming words about Aretha’s legacy dominated Twitter all morning.
