Smoke DZA said he never works with other New York rappers is because they do not reach out to him. However, Smoke DZA said he is open to working with New York rappers.br /br /Smoke DZA said New York is not trying to unite, the way the South has and the way the West Coast has been doing in recent months. Because of this, and their unwillingness to change, Smoke DZA has decided to work with artists from other regions. Even if he does not like the artist, Smoke DZA said he is willing to work with them. Due to all the competition in new York, Smoke DZA does not see New York hip hop moving forward.br /br /Despite his persona as a “weed rapper,” Smoke DZA said he hopes marijuana is never legalized.
