A key theme, or argument, in “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” in season one, was colorism. This led to Amara La Negra having major falling outs with former friends, Veronica Vega, and Steph Lecor, who is no longer on the show. Of course, Amara had it out with Young Hollywood over this.
On a mainstream level, Amara La Negra called Cardi B out over this, leading to her sister, Hennessy, blasting her. Now, “Love & Hip Hop Miami” is at the center of another colorism debate. This time, it is Prince, though.
In his time on the show, Prince has been the topic of much debate. This season, Prince is falling back from promoting to rapping, and fans are not buying his “tough-guy” act. But, there is one fan who doesn’t care anything about that, blasting Prince for charging darker-skinned women extra when he was a promoter, for which he apologized, before comparing dark-skinned women to Michael Blackson.
