“Undisputed” host, Skip Bayless, has been referenced in many songs by rappers, and is even close with Lil Wayne. A few years ago, Wayne even gifted Bayless with a “Skip” chain. The two hang out frequently as well.
On Saturday, Bayless took to his Instagram feed, to reveal that Wayne came over his house, to watch college football with him and his wife, Ernestine. Bayless also showed off the New Balance Kawhi sneakers, that Wayne gifted him. Bayless also added that Wayne gave him a new pair of Jordans, which are his favorite brand of sneakers.
“Ernestine and I watched some college football today with our friend Lil Wayne. I wore the New Balance Kawhi’s that Wayne gave (as a gag gift) for Christmas (along with some classic J’s). My choice of footwear got a classic laugh from Wayne.”
Wayne has had a really good past year and a half for himself, as he scored another number one album with “Funeral,” in January 2020. That year, he also made his “No Ceilings” mixtape available on streaming outlets, and also put out “No Ceilings 3,” with DJ Khaled. This past January, Wayne was also pardoned by Donald Trump, for his December 2019 federal gun case.
