Often, there is discussion about the challenges the up-and-coming hip hop artists go through. Independent rappers are faced with many obstacles, as they go after their goals. But, there are many people who come to the aid of independent rappers. Among those people is Jay30, who is known in the DMV area for his highly-popular showcase series, Show Your Skills.
After taking a hiatus, the Show Your Skills showcase is back in the form of the Show Your Skills Industry Mixer. Jay30 has a fresh start, relocating from Richmond to Hampton, Virginia. The Show Your Skills Industry Mixer will take place on March 9, 2013 at Club Twist in Hampton. For this upcoming industry mixer, Jay30 will be going all out.
Sarah J, King Cal, Hughes Felishof, and of course Jay30 will serve as the panelist for this event. The Show Your Skills Industry Mixer will include a producer battle, DJ record pool, and an artist showcase. Featuring a myriad of shows, the winner of the industry mixer will win a cash prize of $1,000. On 5 pm EST, on Saturday March 9 will be when things start off.
