Despite “Download” dropping in 2009, where Lil’ Kim was embracing the then-new social media era, it didn’t connect. But, Nicki Minaj was built for it, going onto dominate the next decade. Since 2014, several female rappers have emerged, with Cardi B being the most-prominent.
However, before Nicki Minaj was ever even approaching legendary status, Eleven was producing female rappers. He was putting in work with his “She Got Next” brand. Now, he has assembled ladies for an all-female compilation album, featuring the likes of Lady Luck, Asian Doll aka Asian Da Brat, and many others.
