ShareeBy The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

Often, the R&B aspect of hip hop gets overlooked. Unless R&B singers have songs with rappers, their tracks tend to be passed over for more rap centric music. However, hip hop has gone through many shifts and R&B is next with Justin Timberlake having a strong return.

Sharee Fox is a big name in R&B, obviously not on the same level as Justin Timberlake, yet she is still a rising force. Originally from Philadelphia, Sharee Fox found a home in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A city best-known for introducing the world to J. Cole by way of Jay-Z, there is much more in the city.

Recently, Sharee Fox talked to Hip Hop Vibe about some of the projects she has in the works. A solo release is definitely in the works from her and Sharee Fox opened up on her inspiration. At the top of this list are such legends as Patti LaBelle and The Roots, along with many others.
