Sevyn Streeter is getting ready to release her ‘Drunken Wordz Sober Thoughtz’ album soon. This project is set to be out at the top of 2021 but has revealed that she just tested positive for COVID-19.
Streeter is luckily asymptomatic and will be perfectly fine. For now though, she will be isolating so the virus won’t spread to anyone else. She emphasized that she has to put safety first.
“Just got the word I’ve tested positive for COVID. I’m all good but will be isolating for a little bit to protect those around me. And trust me I’m doing everything I can 2 deliver my new project Drunken Wordz Sober Thoughtz to y’all top of 2021 but I have 2 make sure I’m being safe first. Sending love to everyone in these crazy times. Stay safe and healthy.”
“Adversity & responsibilities, Im more than capable of navigating…..but the idea of spending Christmas away from my family during these times…..absolutely heartbreaking,” said Streeter in her Instagram caption “This year is def 1 for the books💔”
Streeter also added in her hashtags that people should continue to wear masks and for people to stay safe during these times. Check out her IG post addressing the positive test below.
