Suddenly, everyone is claiming king in New York, over New York, and making comments about New York. The latest person to jump into this frenzy is Papoose, who dissed Kendrick Lamar and Trinidad James over their New York comments. It’s been over six months since both emcees took their shots.
Papoose recently held a concert and he bragged about being king of New York. He said he ranks himself ahead of all the other New York rappers and Jay-Z is included in this list. Most currently would assume Jay-Z is the king of New York, but Papoose is taking that title for himself.
Sean Price is another Brooklyn rapper and many consider him to be one of the best rappers in the game. Until recently, Sean Price has remained silent about all of the claims of kings, but he broke this silence. Recently, Sean Price took to his Twitter to say he had no problem with Maino claiming king of Brooklyn, but these guys claiming king of New York, he does not understand.
