Due to sex, money, and drugs being a major topic within the hip hop community, safe sex has also become a major topic. Rightfully so, as everyone needs to protect themselves from unnecessary illness. A major consequence to unprotected sex comes in the form of STDs.
The hip hop world never truly rebounded from Eazy-E’s death. Standing as one of hip hop’s biggest names, Eazy-E revealed he had full blown AIDS, following unprotected sex while on the road. NBA legend, Magic Johnson, is also a longtime HIV patient.
Yesterday, hope was found for a HIV cure, which will essentially cancel out AIDS. Researchers at Temple University have been working and they have found an HIV cure. The full details of their research have been released and it looks as if there is a true handle on the HIV virus for the first time.
