Two forces in Atlanta hip hop are Schweinbeck and Mixtape Monopoly, who often work very closely together. Schweinbeck is the management company, which handles the affairs of Bambino Gold and Rich the Kid. Meanwhile, Mixtape Monopoly is one of the leading DJ coalitions and home to such names as DJ Junior and DJ S.R., along with numerous other mixtape DJs.
Every month, Schweinbeck takes over at Slice Westside in Atlanta and holds the monthly industry mixer. Offering artists a chance to network and perform in front of a crowd of professionals, the industry mixers have gained much popularity since they first started. The final industry mixer of 2012, Schweinbeck and Mixtape Monopoly decided to do this one together.
The mixer will also serve as the mixtape release party for Jerz and SK, while Fort Knox and DJ Lady B will be hosting the event. Once again, DJ Genius will provide the music for the night and performers will include Rich the Kid and CJ Da Fly Guy. Free entry and free parking for the night, along with a number of surprise guests.
