Last year, ScHoolboy Q released Oxymoron, his debut album after many delays. Originally, the album was due for release in 2013, but when it came, it made a major impact. The single, “Studio,” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid, made a huge splash during the summer.
ScHoolboy Q spent the months following Oxymoron being relatively silent. Not showing much of himself in the public eye, ScHoolboy Q has kept busy. A guy as competitive as him, ScHoolboy Q was obviously somewhere working.
Some fans were present for his recent performance at Klasick Summer Fest, where ScHoolboy Q hinted towards a new album. These fans took to the Reddit hip hop discussion forum to relay ScHoolboy Q’s message. He said something along the lines of sitting on a bunch of new tracks the world doesn’t know about.
