Saweetie to release new single with H.E.R. next week
Saweetie has been one of the industry’s biggest stars over the past year, as well as one of the most marketable. She was part of Doja Cat’s smash hit, “Best Friend,” in 2021, released her “Pretty Summer Playlist Vol. 1” EP, as well as her “Icy Chain” single, to close out the year.
Now, Saweetie’s first single of 2022, is arriving soon. The Bay Area dapper took to social media to preview her “Closer” single. She was seen getting ready to go out, as she was playing this record, which also includes H.E.R.
Saweetie snd H.E.R. are also nominated in multiple categories, for the upcoming 2022 GRAMMYs, in Las Vegas, in April. Saweetie is in the categories of Best New Artist and Best Rap Song. This is for being featured in Doja’s Best Friend single.
H.E.R. is tied for the second most Grammy nominations this year, with eight in total. Among the categories included for her, are Best R&B Album, Best Song, Best R&B Song, and more.
