Sales projections increase for Game’s “Jesus Piece” album

Jesus Piece altLast week, Game released Jesus Piece, his fifth studio album. His second album back with Dr. Dre, Game finds himself an elder statesman in the Los Angeles hip hop scene. It has been eight years since Game was considered a “new” artist. Now, he finds himself in the role of mentor to the likes of Kendrick Lamar, among others.

Doing his part in making Kendrick Lamar a part of the Aftermath/Interscope roster, now Game did something for himself. Jesus Piece is filled with songs that feature the biggest names in the game. Ranging from the likes of Big Sean to J. Cole, Game put together an album full of hits.

Despite having undeniable hits, such as “Celebration,” which features Chris Brown, Tyga, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa, sales projections are low. Initially, Game was projected to move between 75 to 80,000 units. These projections have increased to between 85 and 90,000 copies.
