To say the process Saigon went through trying to release The Greatest Story Never Told was an ordeal is an understatement. An album originally intended to be released in 2005 was met with so many delays and it was not released until 2011. There was much hype leading up to the release of the album, many saying the album was a classic.

Despite the six year wait, The Greatest Story Never Told was still an acclaimed album, one of the best releases of 2011. For a brief period of time, it seemed as if Saigon would release his long-awaited debut album in 2008. Still angry with his original record label, Saigon announced he was off the label and already working on his sophomore album.

It would take three more years for Saigon to finally release his album, but he is delivering a sophomore effort soon, as promised. Recently, Saigon took to his Twitter to announce his next album, Bread and Circuses, which will be released on September 11. The album is currently set to face off against Ludacris’ eighth album, Ludaversal.
