Often, a lot is said about Ryan Leslie and his creative process. Those closest to him often speak of how smart he is and how he can do pretty much anything, but he chose to do music. By 2008, music looked to be paying off for him, as he had Cassie signed to him, a hit single, and a partnership with Bad Boy Records.
Ryan Leslie has since taken much of a background role over the years since 2008 and the release of the “Diamond Girl” single. Although gone from the spotlight, Ryan Leslie has continued to make his music behind the scenes. Like many others who had to step back from the spotlight, Ryan Leslie is waiting for the right time to step back in.
Yesterday, Hot 97’s morning show trio of Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez actually hosted Ryan Leslie. While he was there, he explained exactly where he’s been and what he’s been doing. He talked about Cassie and how he is still making more money than most current artists in the game.
