On paper, the Oklahoma City Thunder are one of the greatest teams of all-time. Going out and adding Paul George and Carmelo Anthony and pairing them with Russell Westbrook is a fan’s fantasy. So far, it’s been a nightmare, though.
Tonight, they are playing Melo’s old team, the Denver Nuggets, which follows a loss to the league worst Sacramento Kings. A lot of people expected OKC to be number two out West to the Warriors. Instead, the struggle has been real.
Early in the game against the Kings, Russell Westbrook vented his frustration, as he’s known to do. When he and Carmelo both went for the same rebound, Russ wasn’t having it. To his own teammate, he told him “get the f*ck outta here, motherf*cker.”
