To kick off 2017, New Edition took the game back over. They had their miniseries, which aired on BET, early in the year. This told all of the backstage drama and put a lot of what people saw into context, while giving the group a major lift.
Almost immediately following “The New Edition Story,” BET announced they had “The Bobby Brown Story” coming. Many people complained about how New Edition’s biopic didn’t even mention Whitney Houston, let alone show her. All of this is remedied on “Bobby Brown Story.”
Recently, Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby, Ricky Bell, and Mike Bivins paid a visit to “The Breakfast Club.” Sitting down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God, they spoke on their history. Primarily, they were there to support Bobby, who spoke on his upcoming biopic, which stars the homie, Woody McClain.
