In 2000, Bow Wow debuted, as the first successful child rapper. Months later, Romeo Miller, as Lil’ Romeo, came and changed the game. Immediately, the kids were pit against each other, but now as adults, Romeo came on Verzuz, to make peace with Bow Wow.
Romeo and Bow Wow have had interactions, over the years, but were still considered enemies. In 2006, they competed in the Celebrity All-Star Game, even taking a photo together. Still, people insisted Bow Wow dissed Romeo, on “Fresh Azimiz,” and that Romeo fired back.
Romeo Miller came, at the end of the Verzuz battle, to speak to Bow Wow. He gave Romeo his props to Bow Wow, putting to rest their beef, making it clear he never had one. Ending his speech, Romeo Miller said Bow was Michael Jordan, he was Kobe, and Soulja Boy was LeBron, the innovator, for child rappers.
