Rolling Loud Says Festival in Miami in Early May is Still on Despite Ongoing Coronavirus Outbreak

The coronavirus pandemic continues to plague the U.S, Italy, and more as we see even more cancellations in the sports and entertainment world. The CDC has since recommended that people do not be at gatherings with 50 people for the next eight weeks and in NYC, movie theaters and nightclubs are closed. The only exception for restaurants there are carry-out or delivery.

SXSW in Austin, TX was canceled this month and Coachella was postponed to October. Another huge festival that fans had questions about is Rolling Loud in Miami. This takes place from May 8-10. Two days ago, the festival’s Instagram handle said that they plan to go on with the concerts.

Two days later after things have looked like they’ve gotten worse in the world, RL has now emphasized on IG again that the festival is still on from May 8-10. Their caption read “If you guys all stay inside for the next couple of weeks, we’ll drop the set times sooner than the week of for Miami WHICH IS STILL ON FOR MAY 8-10.” Among the headliners in Miami are A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Post Malone, 21 Savage, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, and more.

Considering all of the madness that’s going on in the world with this virus, this is very good news. Hopefully, things do slow down by the time the first week of May arrives. Check out Rolling Loud’s latest IG post which tells fans that the festival is still on along with the full list of lineups.
