Rod Wave released his second album in less than a year with his “SoulFly” project a few days ago. The feedback by fans has since been overwhelmingly positive and now, it’s about to dominate the charts.

According to Chart Data, “SoulFly” is set to become the No. 1 album in the US on the Billboard 200 chart. It will have accumulated 125,000-150,000 total units. 175 million audio streams were also totaled. This also marks the Florida rapper’s first ever No. 1 album. This would overthrow Justin Bieber’s “Justice” album after hitting the top spot for this week.

SoulFly contains 19 tracks in total with Polo G being the sole feature. He appeared on the “Richer” record. In a new interview with The Breakfast Club, Wave explained how from the first time he met Polo, the two were cool since then.

Wave’s stardom will not be slowing down anytime soon, either. Last April, his “Pray 4 Love” album debuted at No. 2 and now, “SoulFly” is dominating in 2021.
