Rod Wave announces that his new “Beautiful Mind” album, is coming on June 3

Rod Wave announces “Beautiful Mind” album coming on June 3

Back in January, Rod Wave was seriously contemplating retirement. This was during an Instagram Live session, as he said he was only around for a “lil minute.” Rod also expressed how he put out his “Cold December” single, to honor terms with Alamo Records.

“I was in a $15 million deal contract that I was trying to close on and they was like, ‘They need that song.’ That’s the only reason why I dropped that sh*t,” he said on the live stream. “But I wasn’t never gon’ drop that sh*t if you want to be technical.”

Now, Rod is back to the music, as his fourth studio album is on the way, and will be out on June 3. This was announced in a new video, where Rod freestyled to Future’s new “Wait For U” song, which features Drake and Tems. Rod added that the album has also been turned in into Alamo Records.

Rod’s last album came in March 2021, with “SoulFly.” This went on to be the Florida rapper’s first album, at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. That was led by singles such as “Streetrunner,” “Tombstone” and “Richer,” featuring Polo G. SoulFly has since gone gold, in the US.
