Two years ago, Robin Thicke seemingly made a timeless song that would keep him compensated for years to come. The first part is true, as his 2013 single, “Blurred Lines,” featuring Pharrell and T.I. is set to rock old school parties for years. But, Marvin Gaye’s family owns rights to this joint.
Ultimately, “Blurred Lines” cost Robin Thicke more than it gained him. In the end, his marriage to Paula Patton ended and he ended up getting sued, losing his royalties in the process. This prompted him to release Paula in 2014, which was a major fail.
Robin Thicke is back with a new album in 2015 and he stopped by Hot 97, speaking to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. During the interview, Robin Thicke spoke on the Paula ordeal, both the woman and the album. He went onto discuss his “Back Together” single with Nicki Minaj and his upcoming album.
