RIP DMXIt always hurts to see them go and DMX is now among those who are gone. Sadly, the plug was pulled, and DMX did not survive. Through his career, X was open about his struggles with mental health, among other topics, considered “taboo,” for black men.

DMX came into 2021 with big news, he returned to Def Jam, planning to release a new album. The past few years saw X make peace with the past. In 2016, he actually reunited with Jay-Z and Ja Rule, as the three were originally a part of the Murder Inc. group.

Early this year, DMX went on “Drink Champs,” where he spoke excitedly about his future. An older man, at the age of 50, X spoke on being a father and grandfather, wanting to spend more time with his family. Unfortunately, DMX was robbed of this moment, suffering cardiac arrest, being left in a coma, and he succumbed to this.

Now, fans on Twitter are left with their memories of Earl “DMX” Simmons, mourning him on Twitter.
