The year of 2016 is the year where hip hop took over the game, as Drake continued to rise. With the rise of Drake came Rihanna’s comeback, ending a four year hiatus. Back in business with Jay Z, Rihanna came to top Billboard, again, and she did.
Firmly re-established as the pop queen, Rihanna has a lot of new music that is out. Still, “Work” is the consensus favorite track for most fans and it’s looking like the summer anthem. However, there are rumors of more work coming soon.
Another name in the pop world that’s taken a couple of years off is Katy Perry. Back in 2013, she surprised the hip hop world when she did “Dark Horse” and featured Juicy J. Word has it, Katy Perry is coming back and she may be looking at Rihanna for a feature for a key, upcoming, single.
